Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data SiteGrid Technologies Kft. collects, why, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run this site and talk to you.
Who we are
SiteGrid Technologies Kft. ("SiteGrid", "we") operates sitegrid.eu and is the controller of the personal data described here.
What we collect
When you book an intro call, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, optional company name and any notes. We also process basic technical data (such as IP address and request logs) needed to serve and secure the site, and anonymous, aggregated usage statistics.
How we use it
We use booking details only to schedule, prepare for and follow up on your call. Technical data is used to operate, secure and troubleshoot the site. Aggregated statistics help us understand which pages are useful. We never sell your data.
Our legal basis
Under Article 6 GDPR: booking details are processed to arrange your call, as steps taken at your request before any engagement (Art. 6(1)(b)). Technical data and request logs rest on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site (Art. 6(1)(f)). Analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics and the Meta pixel) run only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it. Messages you send to the chat assistant are processed to answer them, at your request.
Third parties
We use Google Calendar and Google Meet to schedule and host calls, Google Analytics for usage statistics and the Meta pixel for advertising measurement (both only if you accept cookies), and Hostinger for hosting. These providers act as our processors and handle data only to deliver their service to us.
Transfers outside the EU
Two of our processors may handle data outside the European Economic Area, in the United States: Google (Calendar, Meet, Analytics) and Anthropic (the chat assistant). Those transfers rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, and for Google additionally on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Our hosting (Hostinger) stays inside the EU. What gets transferred is what is described above: your booking details, and the messages you type into the chat. That is why we ask you not to share sensitive personal data there.
AI chat assistant
Our website chat assistant is powered by Anthropic (Claude). When you send a message in the chat, its content is transmitted to Anthropic to generate a reply. We do not store chat transcripts, only anonymous, aggregated usage counts. Please do not share sensitive personal data in the chat. If you give your name and email to request a quote or call, we handle those as a contact/booking enquiry as described above.
Facebook and Instagram lead forms
When you fill in one of our lead forms on Facebook or Instagram, Meta passes us the details you enter: your name, email address, company website and your answers to our questions. We use them only to prepare and follow up on your free audit request, as steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR / UK GDPR). If you tick the marketing box, we also email you about related services until you unsubscribe (Art. 6(1)(a)). Meta processes the form under its own privacy policy. We keep these details for 12 months, or longer if you become a client. If you live in the UK, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
With your consent, Google Analytics sets cookies to measure how the site is used (`_ga`, `_ga_*`, and the Google `_gcl_au` advertising-linker cookie), and the Meta (Facebook) pixel sets advertising cookies used to measure and target our ads (`_fbp`); if you decline, none of them are set and neither script is ever loaded. Declining or withdrawing later also deletes any that an earlier visit left behind. You can change your choice any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser. Both your cookie choice and your chosen language are stored on your own device and never leave it.
How long we keep it
Booking details (name, email, company, notes) and the matching calendar entry: 12 months after the call, then deleted. If the call leads to an engagement, we keep them for as long as our contractual and accounting obligations require. Server logs (IP address, request metadata): up to 30 days. Chat conversations: not stored. A message is discarded once the reply is generated; we keep only anonymous, aggregated counts. Google Analytics data: 14 months. Your cookie choice and language preference stay on your own device until you clear them.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or port your data, ask us to restrict processing, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can withdraw consent (analytics cookies) at any time. We answer requests within one month at the latest. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hungarian data protection authority (NAIH, 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11., naih.hu) or to go to court.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The date above shows when it last changed.
